2012 (The World's End) : Myth Or Fact - Death of a star (Gamma ray Brust). (my private investigation)

The stars die very often in our universe. But we are not affected by this as they happen miles and miles away from our homeland, the Earth. Sometimes when the stars prrish they unleash the most powerfull force in the universe. A radio active light brighter that a trillion suns. Imagine if that power was unleashed upoon us. We are lucky that an explosion haven't even happened in our galaxy, the Milky Way. If this is to happen, God! i dont want to be alive for that day!. The death of the star can result in a Gamma Ray Brust.

While searching for soviet nuclear testing Nassa's spy satlites began sending back readings of abnormally high radiation, Far greater that any bomb that US have ever seen. The Scientist immediately try to pinpoint, where on the planet the blasts were occuring. To theisr astonishment they found this brust of Gamma rays were not comming from the Earth, but from space. Thus we understood that the nuclear power was not man's alone. The Gamma ray brust was the biggest explosion the universe have seen since the Big Bang itself.

Lets understand the situation by assuming such a condition.

Day I

On the first day we willwill be having two suns instead of one!. Although the closest star to earth that could explode is 8000 lightyears away, even at that distance it would be just catastrophic. This would boil off the whole top of the earth's atmosphere.

Day II

The Ozone layer will the first to perish!. The ozone is our sheild to the high energy radiation. If that sheild is nomore, We are bare. Everyone arround you, even those hiding in the basement or deepest caves will be getting sunburns. This radiation just decomposes the cells or molecules that are the stuff of life.

Day III

The temprature will raise enormously. Because of the radiation our cells will stop reproducing and start regenerating.By now all life would have perished from the earth. Can you belive that!. Only 3 days. However the remenents of our civilization, The buildings, Cars, roads and other stuff will remain intact. The ony life that will be in earth will be the microbes that live deep deep in the earth. There is some hope that the life on the earth will continue, but Bacteria will rule the world!.
